Launched in 2022 as the first product in its category, scaled to profitability from day one, and has expanded from its flagship consumer product into brand, e-commerce, and enterprise use cases. About the Role
First full-time growth hire. Marketing has been run directly by the founder; this person takes full ownership of growth going forward. The scope spans influencer marketing, performance marketing, and organic content — some initiatives already running and handed off, others net-new and built from scratch.
This is an execution seat. You will own initiatives end-to-end, learn new channels quickly, and drive measurable impact on acquisition and revenue. You'll work directly with the founder as the company expands its product surface.
What You'll Own
- Full ownership of growth strategy and execution across influencer, performance, and organic channels
- Transition and scale existing initiatives currently run by the founder and contractors
- Design and launch net-new growth programs across untested channels
- Drive measurable impact on customer acquisition and revenue
- Partner directly with the founder on growth narrative as the platform expands
Requirements
- 2–6 years of growth or marketing experience with demonstrated, measurable impact
- High agency — identifies problems and drives solutions independently
- Scrappy executor — comfortable doing the work, not just directing it
- End-to-end ownership across at least one growth channel, from concept through measurement
- Comfortable with ambiguity and the pace of a lean, founder-led company
- Genuinely excited about generative AI products
Nice to Have
- Performance marketing experience (agency or in-house)
- Social media leadership at a consumer or prosumer brand
- Prior first-marketing-hire experience at a startup that scaled
- Dual B2C and B2B (SMB/Teams) audience experience
- Influencer marketing track record with measurable results
- Familiarity with generative AI tools (image, video, audio)
Compensation
~CAD $180k base + competitive equity. Fully remote.
