Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on backend and platform engineering experience building and operating high-scale production systems in fintech, crypto, trading, payments, or similarly complex environments.
- Mobile development experience with Flutter or React Native.
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains, with meaningful implementation ownership: identity and access management, security platforms, financial systems and ledgering, payments infrastructure, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Strong experience designing and operating distributed systems, including datastores, queues, event-driven architectures, streaming systems, and background processing frameworks.
- Proven operational ownership, including on-call participation, incident response, service reliability, observability, and managing systems against defined service-level objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in startup environments, drive cross-functional initiatives, and take ownership of critical systems with minimal oversight.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Go, Rust, cloud infrastructure, crypto wallets, exchanges, DeFi protocols, or other digital asset platforms.
- Experience building authentication systems, authorization frameworks, session management, key management systems, or other security-critical platform services.
- Experience building financial infrastructure such as payments systems, transaction orchestration, reconciliation platforms, double-entry ledger systems, balancing frameworks, or reporting systems.
- Experience operating blockchain infrastructure, including node management, RPC services, transaction pipelines, execution layers, or on-chain data ingestion.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate identity and access management systems that support authentication, authorization, account security, and key management capabilities.
- Build and scale financial infrastructure responsible for payments orchestration, ledgering, reconciliation, transactional correctness, and risk controls.
- Develop blockchain infrastructure supporting transaction submission, monitoring, node operations, and on-chain data ingestion.
- Establish reliability, observability, and operational standards across critical platform services through monitoring, alerting, incident management, and performance optimization.
- Lead large cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, security, product, and operations teams.
- Mentor engineers and help elevate engineering standards through architecture reviews, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing.
