Senior Product Manager

YC-backed Voice AI Startup | SF Bay Area, CA (Onsite) | $200K-$300K + Equity

About the Company

Our client is one of the fastest-growing voice AI companies in the world - scaling from $5M to $80M ARR in roughly 18 months with a team of 50. Backed by Y Combinator and leading investors, they're valued at over $1.5B and deploying AI voice agents for enterprises including Fortune 500 companies across healthcare, airlines, logistics, and technology.

Their 2026 vision is a full modern CX platform where entire contact centers are powered by AI - intelligent agents that act as frontline agents, QA analysts, and managers, continuously executing, monitoring, and improving every customer interaction. This is not incremental automation; it's a ground-up reimagining of the call center.

The Role

As Senior Product Manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of core product areas that power millions of AI-driven conversations. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and customers to define the roadmap, drive execution, and ship products that set the industry standard - spanning real-time audio, telephony workflows, agent behavior, and developer tools.

This is a highly technical, wide-scope role with direct customer impact. The right candidate is a builder - someone who has taken products from zero to one, is comfortable going deep with engineers, and is energized by the challenge of turning messy customer problems into shippable solutions.

What You'll Do

•       Own customer outcomes for core product areas - voice agent behavior, onboarding, testing, and AI-driven automation - defining strategy, roadmap, and success metrics grounded in real customer pain and business impact.

•       Develop deep customer understanding through direct engagement: reviewing call transcripts, joining onboarding and support sessions, and continuously surfacing unmet needs and failure points.

•       Author clear, outcome-driven PRDs that define the customer problem, end-to-end user journey, requirements, and proposed solution - used to align engineering, design, and stakeholders before execution begins.

•       Partner closely with engineering to design scalable solutions, evaluating tradeoffs through the lens of customer value, time to impact, and long-term platform health.

•       Work cross-functionally with Sales, CX, and Customer Success to understand buying signals, objections, rollout blockers, and expansion drivers - and translate those insights into product priorities.

•       Drive cross-functional execution by planning, sequencing, and tracking product initiatives to ensure timely delivery and clear ownership.

•       Validate solutions early and often with customers through prototypes, betas, and rapid iteration - solving the right problem before scaling investment.

•       Incorporate competitive and market insights into product strategy and prioritization to ensure clear differentiation.

What We're Looking For

Required

•       5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with recent US-based PM tenure.

•       A named 0-to-1 launch you personally owned - a product that did not exist, which you took live and got adopted. This is the primary screen criterion.

•       Platform or developer-facing product experience: APIs, SDKs, integrations, extensibility, automation, or no-code tooling - something other builders build on top of.

•       Strong solutioning instincts: able to take a customer's half-articulated problem and shape it into something shippable - technically fluent enough to reason about how it actually gets built.

•       Customer-obsessed: regularly talks to users, reviews real usage data, and turns feedback into shipped product.

•       Thrives at startup velocity - energized by ambiguity, ownership, and fast iteration.

Strong Signals (any one)

•       Founding PM or first PM at a VC-backed startup.

•       No-code / automation platform experience: Zapier, Make, n8n, Retool, Airtable, Webflow.

•       Developer platform background: Twilio, Stripe, GitHub, Vercel, Firebase, Segment, Auth0, Supabase.

•       Built or owned an API, SDK, or integration ecosystem.

•       Shipped a self-serve / product-led onboarding surface.

•       Technical credibility: CS degree, ex-engineer, or a portfolio of shipped side projects.

•       AI product experience - voice AI a strong advantage.

Not a Fit

•       Growth, lifecycle, or experimentation PMs focused on funnel optimization, activation, or conversion.

•       PMs whose career centers on internal tools, internal ops, or operational automation.

•       Operations or program managers carrying a PM title.

Compensation & Benefits

•       Base salary: $200,000 - $300,000

•       Competitive equity

•       100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision

•       Daily DoorDash credit

•       Wellness reimbursement

•       Commute reimbursement

•       Cellphone reimbursement

•       Internet reimbursement

•       Visa sponsorship available: H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, F-1 (OPT/CPT), O-1
